Fidel Celebrates International Women’s Day 2025 with NFBM Jagriti School For Blind Girls

In celebration of International Women’s Day IWD 2025, Fidel visited the National Federation of the Blind Maharashtra (NFBM) Jagriti School For Blind Girls, a distinguished nonprofit organization based in Pune. NFBM operates a school dedicated to the education and empowerment of visually impaired girls, providing them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to overcome challenges and build successful futures.

This visit on IWD 2025 was a profoundly great experience for the Fidel team of ladies professionals. It provided an opportunity to witness firsthand the remarkable determination and strength of these young girls, many of whom are completely or partially blind. Despite their challenges, they continue to inspire others with their unwavering spirit, proving that disabilities do not define one’s potential. The students of NFBM are not just learners but role models, setting an extraordinary example for others with their perseverance, academic achievements and artistic talents.

During the visit, the Fidel team engaged with students and faculty members, learning about the innovative teaching methodologies used at the school. The institution has created an inclusive learning environment that fosters growth, independence and self-sufficiency. Technology plays a crucial role in their education, enabling them to access information and develop new skills. From braille literacy programs to computer-assisted learning, NFBM ensures that its students are well-equipped for the future.

As part of the Women’s Day celebration, Fidel also undertook a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to support the school and its students.
