Fidel supports NFBM Jagriti School for Blind Girls in Pune – CSR Activity

Fidel visited the National Federation of the Blind Maharashtra (NFBM) on 7th March 2025. NFBM is a distinguished nonprofit organization based in Pune. It operates a school dedicated to the education and empowerment of visually impaired girls, providing them with the knowledge, skills and confidence to overcome challenges and build successful futures.

This visit provided an opportunity to witness firsthand the remarkable determination and strength of these young girls, many of whom are completely or partially blind. Despite their challenges, they continue to inspire others with their unwavering spirit, proving that disabilities do not define one’s potential. The students of NFBM are not just learners but role models, setting an extraordinary example for others with their perseverance, academic achievements and artistic talents.

Fidel undertook a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to support the school and its students. Fidel has always been committed to fostering an inclusive society and this visit reinforced the importance of supporting initiatives that empower individuals with disabilities.

During the visit, the Fidel team engaged with students and faculty members, learning about the innovative teaching methodologies used at the school. The institution has created an inclusive learning environment that fosters growth, independence and self-sufficiency. Technology plays a crucial role in their education, enabling them to access information and develop new skills. From braille literacy programs to computer-assisted learning, NFBM ensures that its students are well-equipped for the future.

The students’ courage and determination resonated with the Fidel team, reinforcing the belief that every individual, regardless of their abilities, has the potential to make a significant impact on society.
