Fidel Supports Visually Impaired: ‘Srikanth’ Movie Screening & Braille Initiatives

13/05/2024

Braille is the language for the visually impaired and Fidel being in the LangTech field, is a topic close to our hearts.

The ‘Srikanth movie screening, organized by the Rotary Club of Pune University Charitable Trust and the National Federation of the Blind, provided visually impaired people with a unique cinematic experience. Through audio descriptions, these students immersed themselves in the inspiring journey of a visually impaired entrepreneur brilliantly portrayed by Rajkummar Rao. Our support for this event underscores its dedication to making entertainment and cultural experiences accessible to all.

Simultaneously, we recognize the importance of Braille as a vital language for the visually impaired. With a deep understanding of the role Braille plays in facilitating independent reading and writing, Fidel being in the LangTech field, is committed to promoting Braille literacy.

By leveraging technology, we aim to enhance Braille accessibility and integration, empowering visually impaired individuals to navigate the world with greater autonomy and confidence.

Fidel’s Program Manager, Leena Satpute, was joined by Aishwarya Kulkarni, Aditya Maral, Akshada Shah and Priyanka Bansode at the event.
