Fidel Participates in Shinnenkai 2026 Indo–Japan New Year Celebration in Mumbai

Fidel participated in the Shinnenkai (新年会) 2026, a traditional Japanese New Year gathering that celebrates togetherness, cultural exchange, and fresh beginnings. The event was held on Friday, 9 January 2026, at the premium venue Game Palacio, Palladium Mall, Lower Parel, Mumbai, bringing together members of the Indo–Japan business and cultural community.

Representing Fidel at the event was Mr. Ajit Salvi, who joined industry peers, professionals and guests in welcoming the New Year through meaningful conversations and shared experiences rooted in the spirit of omotenashi—Japanese hospitality.

A key highlight of the evening was a Japanese classical dance performance by renowned artist Ichinosuke Umekawa, showcasing a 400-year-old dance legacy that beautifully reflected Japan’s grace, discipline, and cultural depth, creating an immersive cultural experience for attendees.

Shinnenkai serves as an important tradition in Japan, symbolizing reflection, renewal, and strengthening relationships. Fidel’s presence at the event reinforces its continued engagement with cross-cultural platforms and its commitment to fostering strong Indo–Japan connections.

The evening concluded with warm New Year wishes of “Akemashite omedetō gozaimasu”, setting a positive and collaborative tone for 2026.
