Job Description

Job Position Summary:

We are looking for a person who is experienced as a CSI (SyteLine) Technical Consultant in Implementation and Rollout Projects in areas of Development, Upgrade, Implementation, Customization and Support of version 7,8,9 and 10 (On prim and cloud).

Key responsibilities:

  • Good understanding of all applications and modules of Syteline.
  • Requirement Gathering & Gap Analysis – interact with business users, create initial Business Requirement document (BRD) and incorporated the business feedback comments in the initial BRD, analyze BRD, business workflow, convert those into functional specifications, carry out feasibility studies and coordinate with technical teams to develop/enhance the product.
  • Functional Specification – evaluating functional requirements and documenting the “as is” & “to be” processes.
  • Prototype Configuration & Presentation – Configured Product Presentation (Feature List / PPT).
  • Project Scoping – Finalizing Implementation methodology taking into consideration process orientation, implementing new systems including Master data migration, codification and cleansing & recommending business process reengineering.
  • Functional Testing – post implementation for validating all requirements discussed are implemented.
  • Training – driving several levels of Training, readiness & performance assessment.
  • Client Interactions and co-ordination between the Business and the IT team.
  • Conduct functional walkthroughs for the development and testing team to enhance their understanding of the functionality.
  • Guiding the team for preparation of Masters, Test Cases, Test Scenarios.
  • Work closely with development team for business blue printing & configurations.

Desired Qualification / certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

Any of the following certification will be added advantage.

  • Infor Certified Functional Consultant Manuf (SyteLine)
  • Infor Certified Functional Consultant Finance (SyteLine)

Preferred relevant work experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of CSI(SyteLine) Functional Consultant in Implementation and Rollout Projects in areas of Development, Upgrade, Implementation, Customization and Support of version 7,8,9 and 10(On prim and cloud).
  • Must have good understanding of
    • Migration: Must have good understanding of all steps/activities involved in migration from one version to another and fro migrating from On Premise to Cloud.
    • Supply Chain Management: Requisition, Enquiry, Quotation Comparison, Vendor Approval, PO & Delivery Schedules, Vendor Rating, Transporter Contract & LR tracking, and Dispatch Documentation.
    • Warehouse & Materials management: Gate Entry, GIN, Batch tracking, Container Accounting, Sub-Contractor IN/OUT tracking, FIFO Control, Bin Placement, Physical Stock adjustment, Reconciliation.
    • Quality Control: Incoming, In process, Sampling, PDIR, Rejection & Salvage, Calibration.
    • Production & Maintenance: Production Routing, MRP II, Production Scheduling, Machine and operator utilization, overhead & WIP value addition, Bye-Product, Rework & wastage, Works Order Tracking, In process & Line rejection, Machine-Operator-Die/Moulds Logging, Monitoring, Tracking & Costing, Yield calculation, Batch Production, Product Lifecycle management, Machine enhancement/upgrades, Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance.
    • Sales & Distribution: Customer RFQ, Offer, Order & Schedules and Revision tracking, Forecasting, Credit Limit, S/O Reservation, Sales Activity, Sales Register.
    • Planning: Base/Alternate BOM, MRP Input – based on MPS, Forecast or Order; on ROL; on Historic Trend, MRP Output Generation – Indent/PO/Bought-out Schedule, WO + Machine loading.
